“We will be helping local people to protect the environment by re-using pre owned furniture.

“We will be helping to create homes by offering low cost household goods. We will also be building the esteem and confidence of local volunteers through our job placement scheme.” Customers can choose from a wide selection of donated good or order from a small selection of new goods.

Everyone is welcome and people on means-tested benefit get even better value, with a 25 per cent discount on pre owned goods.

The charity is offering free furniture to flood victims in York and North Yorkshire, as organisations around the country continue to send extra supplies for those hit worst by the Christmas flooding.
