Nostalgia: Peasholm Park
A wonderful view of Peasholm Park looking towards the Clifton Hotel and North Marine Road in the distance.
The island in the middle of the lake pictured centre left was very popular with visitors who can be seen watching the world go by.
The Park opened in June 1912 at a cost to the ratepayer of just over £2,000.
