'Don't walk alone': Warning to Scarborough students after man 'intimidated' a teenager in Falsgrave Park area

Scarborough students have been urged not to walk home alone after a report of a man harassing a teenager.

Scarborough Sixth Form College issued the warning on Friday after concern about the man intimidating a student in the Falsgrave Park area.

The warning said: "Please could all students remain vigilant on their way to and from college.

"We have had a report of a short white male harassing a student in the vicinity of Falsgrave Park.

"We advise you to use main roads and to be with others where possible.

"If you witness anything suspicious, please report it to college and/or the police immediately."

Anyone with information about the incident should call police via 101 or Crimstoppers, where information can be passed on anonymously, on 0800 555111.
