Scarborough College students received a similar warning in September after concern about a man intimidating a student in the Falsgrave Park area.
A spokesperson for the college said: "The safety of our students is obviously paramount, and we are encouraging them to use main roads and avoid walking alone."
Students are being asked to report any other incidents to the police via 101 or to the college.
