Kittrick's Comment: We need to build on good results

We have three very big games coming up over the next week or so and we can use that as a yardstick to see just how far we have come as a side.
Bamber Bridge are a good side with good players, Northwich at the moment are possibly the best side in the league and Witton will be tough because their manager has turned their form around.

Hide AdI’m hoping that Bamber Bridge will see a completely different Scarborough on Saturday to the one they faced a few weeks ago.
That game will be a great test just to see how good we are as a side now.
It has been good to see the crowd getting behind us as well, they are a great bunch.
I wasn’t sure what to do a few weeks ago, I was thinking of putting a Rudy Funk mask on and punching the air, but it isn’t about that, we have much bigger fish to fry.

Hide AdIt is about getting results in the bag, getting this team up the table and pushing things forward.
The players are showing their commitment on and off the field now as well.
You only have to look at lads like Glenn Matthews and Niall Flint and the travelling they do week in, week out.
We are currently working on bringing a couple of young lads in from a Conference club to strengthen things and if we can sign Matt Glennon then that would be massive for us.

Hide AdI know Matt very well, he stopped me taking Guiseley into the Conference with some great saves for Halifax in the two-legged play-off a few years ago.
He is a player with great experience and the kind of player you need if you are going to do well.
I hope that the fans can see what we are trying to do here, we are trying to build something successful.
If you are going to push to get out of this league you need the experience and you need the knowhow, that is what we are trying to bring in.
