Letter: Seating and parking need improvement in Scarborough

Parking:

•Instead of being horizontal, they could be chevron style.

•So instead of having to cross oncoming traffic cars could drive straight in.

•This would be safer when exiting, once again not reversing into the oncoming traffic.

•These could be different on the North side so drivers heading North to South would be safer driving in and exiting.

Seating:

The other issue is the lack of seating from Eastborough to the top of Westborough. I am a disabled war veteran, and because of my injuries I need to sit down. I could rest by leaning against the posts that where spaced out along those two points.

They have also been removed.

Scarborough has a high percentage of elderly retired citizens who are having the same difficulties.

Why have they been removed, without considering the effect that this has on elderly residents, in fact all users young and old.
