Belting out a mix of old favourites including Rotterdam, Perfect 10, Old Red Eyes and I Need a Little Time, together with recent songs such as DIY, The Austerity of Love and I Don't See Them - the video for which was filmed in Scarborough - they gave an energetic show from beginning to end.

Both Heaton and Abbott's vocals sounded as fresh as ever and didn't disappoint, coupled with their catchy melodies and no-nonsense lyrics, it made for a winning formula.

Other highlights of the evening included outstanding performances of classic Housemartins' anthems Caravan of Love and Happy Hour with everyone joining in and cheering.
