19 fantastic photos of the Scarborough shop fronts transformed into art

In March shops across Scarborough were invited to receive free artworks installed to brighten up the town and encourage a boost to business following lockdown.

The project was the first in a series of joint initiatives to be announced by Scarborough Borough Council, Scarborough Town Centre Team and Scarborough Town Deal Board, paid for by Government Town Deal Fast Track funding.

Other investments included large town centre planters, information boards, and public town centre WiFi.
