20 pictures as shops, pubs, gyms and hair salons reopen across Scarborough

Scores of Scarborough businesses threw open their doors yesterday as more coronavirus restrictions were eased.

Customers flocked back to enjoy haircuts, pints, workouts and some retail therapy for the first time since the start of January.

Non-essential shops have been allowed to open, along with gyms, hairdressers and beauty salons, and pubs, cafes and restaurants can offer outdoor service.
