A169 Whitby to Pickering road now reopened - but police warn motorists to take care
The A169 Whitby to Pickering road which was closed earlier this morning has now reopened, say North Yorkshire Police.
The road across the moortops had been closed last night and into this morning for safety reasons due to heavy snow.
But the police now advise that the road has reopened but they stressed motorists must take care.
