Author DW Bradley releases new children’s fable
Whitby author DW Bradley has released the latest in his series of children’s fables.
His latest fable, Snow, is for four to nine-year-olds – it’s twice as long as the previous fables and contains two related stories and two morals.
“All of my fables are set in the 1950s and 60s in the valley between Sleights and Falling Foss,” said Mr Bradley.
“They are intended to be read by adults to children at bedtime.

“As before, I have recorded the stories for parents who do not have the time read to their children at bedtime.”
He is also thinking of going into primary schools in September to offer reading and writing workshops to assist with literacy programmes and promote reading with adults.
The recommended retail prices for Fables 1-3 is £3.99 each and £5.50 for Fable 4.
The fables and his adult fiction are available at Holmans, The Whitby Shop and Tourist Information Office.
Mr Bradley also attends markets at Goathland and Robin Hood's Bay whenever he can.
