The navigator role is required on every ALB launch and exercise and is a pivotal role which requires extensive training and many hours of study. To achieve his navigator qualification, Pete demonstrated high standards of skill using charts, radar, AIS, GPS, buoyage, passage planning, search patterns and knowledge of local waters. An RNLI spokesperson said: “Congratulations Pete from all your fellow volunteers at Bridlington RNLI!”
