Esk Valley Railway's Forget-Me-Not train shortlisted for national award

The monthly service has been shortlisted for the prestigious Community Rail Awards in category 2, "Involving Diverse Groups."

The awards, which are normally announced at a glittering awards ceremony in London, will this year be hosted via the internet at the Online Community Rail Awards on Wednesday, December 9.

Esk Valley Railway Development Company's PR and marketing manager, Lisa Williams, said: "We are delighted to have been shortlisted for this award for our work on the Forget Me Not train, mainly for the people that came on board with us and have given us so many happy memories.
