Spring Daze is a free, family‑friendly event that celebrates the arrival of spring and offers a full day of activities for families, residents, and visitors.
It combines outdoor exploration, creative activities, and community engagement in a relaxed, welcoming environment in the award-winning Peasholm Park. Throughout the day, families enjoyed a wide range of nature‑based and hands‑on activities, including bushcraft, fire‑lighting, leaf rubbing, sunflower potting, and a woodland trail.
There was also knot‑tying sessions with the Sea Cadets, live music from the bandstand, face painting and birds of prey displays.
A variety of community groups, charities and local traders will also attended the event, offering family‑friendly stalls, food and craft items.
