Filey Lions donate £3,000 to Scarborough-based charity Saint Catherine's

Filey Lions have presented a donation of £3,000 to Saint Catherine's to support patient care.

President of Filey Lions, John Sellers said: “We have chosen to support the hospice as it does so much for the people of this town and borough.”

Susan Stephenson, communications and marketing manager at Saint Catherine’s, said: “We would like say a big thank you to Filey Lions for thinking of us and making this generous donation.

It will make a big difference to our patients and their loved ones, helping us to continue providing round-the-clock care in these difficult times.”
