Guide Dogs for the Blind Association appealing for volunteers in Bridlington

The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association is currently recruiting for roles in various parts of the East Riding, including Bridlington.

The charity is hoping to attract a number of volunteers in the area.

It is looking for a fundraiser coordinator, a merchandise coordinator, a collection box coordinator and other fundraisers in Bridlington.

Community fundraising relationship manager Tracey Digby: said: “Our volunteers help us to change the lives of people with sight loss every day and without them we could not survive so are immensely important to Guide Dogs.

“Volunteering for one hour a week can help is make a difference to individuals with sight loss.

“The time commitment for this role is flexible and all our volunteers receive full training as well as full Covid-19 and Health and Safety training and full support.”

Guide dog owner Sue said: “Thanks to volunteers like you I am able to have Toby by my side, who gives me confidence to be a wife and mum again, and take on the world.”
