5. Stephen Joseph Theatre
Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre, opposite the railway station, was founded by Stephen Joseph in 1955.
6. The lighthouse
Built at the start of the 19th century, the lighthouse is one of the town's iconic structures.
7. Town Hall
The Town Hall was built for John Woodall in 1846 and was purchased by the Scarborough Corporation in 1899.
8. Crown Spa Hotel
The Crown Spa Hotel is Scarborough's first hotel built in 1845. The interior of the Crown still contains many of the original architectural features.
