IN PICTURES: All the best of the Whitby Regatta rowing action from Sunday's races

Strong winds forced the cancellation of the traditional rowing action on Regatta Saturday, but the rearranged schedule of races began on a very warm Sunday afternoon.

Here we have captured some of the rowing action between Whitby Fisherlads, Friendship and Scarborough – with plenty of people cheering on from both sides of the harbour.

The presentation takes place tonight (Aug 11) at Abbey Wharf.
