5. Russell
Russell is a eight-month-old Lurcher who is a sweet and lively boy that came to the centre via an inspector in pretty poor condition. Russell is now on the road to recovery and ready to start his search of a forever home with a family who will love him forever. He is a happy guy who loves to live life to the max and loves being out and about with his people. Russel is looking forward to a lifetime of adventures with his new family. Photo: RSPCA

6. Mary
Mary is a eighteen-month-old Lurcher who came to the centre via the local stray dog service. Mary is a very friendly girl with lots of character, energy and love to offer. She is an enthusiastic learner and has so much potential to become the most fantastic addition to the family so long as her new adopters are happy to help her along the way. Mary is a happy go lucky kind of girl who really has not had the best life up to now and is now looking to a brighter future with a family of her very own who will love her unconditionally. 7. Dougal
Dougal is a three-year-old Shih Tzu Cross who came to the centre via an inspector after he was found abandoned in a field along with two other dogs in the most appalling condition. Understandably, the neglect and abuse inflicted on him by his previous owners has left him very nervous of both people and new situations and surroundings. With lots of TLC and patience, Dougal is slowly learning to trust and starting to enjoy life. His adopters will need to give him as much time as he needs to settle in to a home environment and become the loving pet we know he can be. Photo: RSPCA

8. Kevin
Kevin is a 14-month-old Dogue de Bordeaux who is a sweet but very shy boy that came to the centre via an inspector after being seized as part of a prosecution case. After lengthy legal proceedings, Kevin is now ready to find himself a loving new home. Kevin has had such a troubled start to life and this has left him very nervous of people he does not know and new surroundings. He has been having some training to help with this whilst at the centre and his adopters will need to continue with this to help him succeed with his transition into a new home. Once Kevin has built up a bond with his people, he really is a very sweet, friendly and truly marvellous dog. Photo: RSPCA
