9. Casper
Casper is a three-year-old Lurcher. He loves to play and is very sociable with people but not with other dogs. Casper has been a working dog and needs people who are very familiar with lurcher behaviour. He would not be suitable in a house with cats or other small dogs or animals or small children. Casper is a big lad and needs strong and fit owners. Call Bob for further information on 01947 810787. Photo: Whitby Dog Rescue
10. Spike
Spike is a eight/nine-year-old Patterdale Terrier who needs a new forever home with adults who are used to the breed. Spike is very affectionate with people but he is not very good with other dogs when he is on a lead. He would be best just with his own garden to exercise in rather than meeting other dogs while out for a walk on his lead. Spike is indeed a lovely little character and deserves a home of his own. For further information, call Bob on 01947 810787. Photo: Whitby Dog Rescue
11. Pamela
Pamela is between one and two-years-old and is a Shar Pei Crossbreed. She was brought into Whitby Dog Rescue in early January as a stray by the dog warden. Pamela was quite undernourished and had itchy skin but she is now coming on in leaps and bounds and is putting weight on and her coat is now looking lovely. She loves to stretch out on the couch and is a very friendly soul and loves people and all the other dogs. For further information, call Bob on 01947 810787. Photo: Whitby Dog Rescue
12. Hooch
Hooch is an eight-year-old Dogue De Bordeaux who is looking for his retirement home. Whitby Dog Rescue say he is a great dog and hopefully someone will give him a chance. For further information, call Bob on 01947 810787. Photo: Whitby Dog Rescue
