That’s why The Scarborough News has collated 13 of the top dog friendly pubs on the Yorkshire coast.
There are seven pubs for Whitby and six pubs for Scarborough on our list, and the list comes from information by ‘Dog Friendly Getaways’.
Other dog friendly pubs are available in each town.

9. The Cask Inn
The Cask Inn, situated on Cambridge Terrace in Scarborough, is also dog friendly. They are open Monday to Thursday from 3pm until 11pm, Friday and Saturday from 12noon until 11.30pm and Sundays from 12noon until 11pm. Photo: Google Maps
10. The Little Angel
The Little Angel, situated on Flowergate in Whitby, says that “well behaved dogs are very welcome”. They are open Sunday to Thursday from 12noon until midnight, and Friday and Saturday from 12noon until 1am. Photo: National World
11. The Leeds Arms
The Leeds Arms, located on St. Mary’s Street in Scarborough, is a dog friendly pub which leaves out a bowl of water and treats, but they do ask not to have dogs on the furniture. They are open Monday to Thursday, 3pm until 10pm, and Friday to Sunday from 12noon until 10pm. Photo: Google Maps
