There are three dog rescue centres that are advertising dogs that need rehoming, including Whitby & Scarborough Dog Rescue, Yorkshire Coast Dog Rescue, and the RSPCA.
There are eight dogs at Whitby & Scarborough Dog Rescue looking for their forever homes, one dog at RSPCA’s Scarborough branch and eight dogs at Yorkshire Coast Dog Rescue.
If you would like to enquire about adopting one of these dogs, call Bob at Whitby & Scarborough Dog Rescue on 01947 810787 or email [email protected].

5. Casper
Casper is a three-year-old Lurcher. He is sociable with people, but cannot be rehomed with other dogs, cats or small animals and children. Call Bob on 01947 810787 to enquire. Photo: Whitby Dog Rescue

6. Mikey
Mikey is a seven-month-old Foxhound cross Border Collie, who is looking for his forever home after his owner became unwell. He is very intelligent and has already learned to sit, give paw, lie down and roll over for a treat. He is so friendly with people, children and dogs and really is a big softie. Mikey is a big dog and needs lots of exercise so will need a home with an active family and preferably with a garden for him to play in. Call Yorkshire Coast Dog Rescue on 075832 69614 or email [email protected] for more information. Photo: Yorkshire Coast Dog Rescue

7. Milo
Milo is a two-year-old Patterdale Terrier/Rottweiler cross. He needs to be rehomed with firm and experienced dog owners. Call Bob on 01947 810787 to enquire. Photo: Whitby Dog Rescue

8. Storm
Storm is a one-year-old Border Collie who is looking for a home which he can share with another dog as he loves playing; especially with a ball. He is so friendly and gets really excited on meeting new people and he does jump up, so we will not be rehoming him with small children. Storm has never been left on his own, so he needs someone who is at home for most of the day, and someone who can continue his training.
