Saltmoore encompasses two brand new hotels – Saltmoore House and the Beach House – with 72 bedrooms in total, a state-of-the-art spa with treatment journeys by Wildsmith Skin, and an array of F&B outlets.
Led by Head Chef Adam Maddock, the former Head Chef of The Fife Arms in Braemar, dining at Saltmoore champions locally-sourced produce via seasonal menus.
Joining Maddock as Consulting Executive Chef is multi-award winning chef Tommy Banks - one of the UK’s most innovative restaurateurs behind the Michelin-starred The Black Swan at Oldstead, Michelin-starred Roots York and award-winning gastropub The Abbey Inn.
Open to guests and locals alike, Saltmoore’s culinary offerings comprise two bars and four F&B outlets including a fine dining restaurant, The Brasserie at Saltmoore, Wellness Café and, in the future, a pizza restaurant.
Formal dining room, Calluna, will open in Saltmoore House in early 2025.
With a hyper-seasonal menu, guests can expect an unparalleled dining experience inspired by the moors and coast.
Gastronomic experiences and events will include masterclasses, guest chef pop-ups and other chef-led events while the summer months will invite diners for live music and barbecues al fresco on the terrace.
Interiors by Sapin Studio draw inspiration from the moorlands and the hotel’s seaside location, weaving together rich tones and textures to create timeless, indulgent spaces.
Both Saltmoore House and The Beach House combine the spirit of their past with contemporary nods to arouse a certain wild magic.
Saltmoore House is also home to a bar serving traditional and speciality cocktails garnished with foraged ingredients and botanicals grown on site in the kitchen garden.
Inviting guests to connect with the outdoors, Saltmoore offers a range of activities across the estate and beyond with a focus on wellness, wildlife and nature.
Guests can enjoy kitchen garden tours and picturesque picnics in the grounds or venture beyond to The North York Moors for walking, cycling and horse riding along the hundreds of paths and tracks that cross the 500 square miles of land.
Room rates start from £420 on the weekend and from £350 midweek at both Saltmoore House and The Beach House.
