The popular event brings history to life in the quaint seaside village, with live music, fun games, a best-dressed competition, traditional carols around the tree and much more.
But we recently revealed that the 2025 event would be the last as the current organisers were stepping down and no-one had come forward to take their place.
As Bay attracted people to the Victorian Weekend for the final time, organisers took to the event’s Facebook page to post their gratitude.
“A heartfelt thank you to all of the volunteers who have given their time and energy over the years to make Victorian Weekend happen,” they said.
"Whether setting up, running activities, decorating our beautiful village or being part of the organising group, your enthusiasm and dedication has been very much appreciated.
“And a special thank you to absent friends who were key contributors and indeed everyone who has supported the event over the years, by attending, participating and contributing in so many different ways.
