Whitby’s Christmas Market brought in the shoppers as hundreds of people visited the trade stalls and enjoyed live entertainments throughout the weekend.

A lights switch-on was performed by five-year-old Judith Aconley, who won the primary schools’ Christmas card compeititon, and Whitby Town Football Club captain Dan Rowe.
