The Green Dragon welcomed a Lord of the Rings-themed birthday weekend on Friday, October 24, and Saturday, October 25, celebrating a decade as a family-run independent business on historic Grape Lane.
Owned by Craig and Chris Hodgkinson, the pub invited customers and visitors to join in the festivities, with Saturday’s celebrations attracting fantasy fans dressed in costumes inspired by the much-loved franchise.
Live music and the possibility of face painting added to the planned entertainment, with the event offering a chance for the business to celebrate its milestone with the local community and fans of its distinctive theme.
