With stunning views both inland and on the coast, these walks make Yorkshire an unmissable destination for visitors and locals alike.
Walkers will be able to look at the puffins on Bempton Cliffs, spot dolphins in Scarborough and occasional whales in Whitby.
Whether it's a stroll along the coast, or a challenging hike in the countryside, there is something for everyone in this list of coast and country walks.
Check out our favourite walks below and why not try one out for yourself this week!

13. Littlebeck and Falling Foss
One of the most favoured places to explore on the North Yorkshire Coast is the Falling Foss waterfall and surrounding woodland area. It’s a perfect place to visit with family, as the walk is not too difficult for younger children. Starting in the Forestry Commission car park near Falling Foss, the waterfall is soon reached. The walk continues on to Littlebeck. From Littlebeck, the coast-to-coast path is followed back towards Falling Foss through Little Beck Wood Nature Reserve, passing the Hermitage at the top of the wooded gorge. Photo: Richard Ponter

14. Scarborough - North Bay to South Bay
An easier, gentle walk for people to take is from Scarborough's North Bay to South Bay, and back again. Park along the seafront on North Bay and stroll along the sea front, to the toll bridge then along South Bay to Scarborough Spa, and then go back again. The whole way is paved so it's easily accesible, making it perfect for families. There are cafes along the route. Photo: Richard Ponter
