Paul Robinson known as the Laughing Gardener, is raising money for Henry Brown who suffered a brain bleed when he was born 13 weeks early.

This left him with a permanent injury to his brain.

Henry struggles to use his left hand and his legs have very tight muscles making it very difficult to walk without assistance.

Mr Robinson will be undertaking the mega plant name challenge on Sunday, May 23 in his garden from 11am to 11.15am. He will have to name 70 or more common names of plants and is looking for sponsors so a standing frame can be purchased for Henry and also pay for the physio treatment he will need to use the equipment.

Mr Robinson said: “Henry is an inspirational young man and a true fighter and if I can help him in anyway to give him a better life and future I will.

“I work with his grandmother and have followed his story for a few years. I jumped at the chance to help.

“People can either sponsor me by contacting me directly or go on Henry’s gofundme page.

“So far, even before the event, we have raised £260 with donations and sponsors and had more promises from friends to donate to the mega plant challenge and Henry’s fund.

“I will be dressed as a gnome as Henry loves gnomes. Henry will be there with his family which pleases me so much.

“I can’t wait to meet him.”
