Born in Surrey in 1926, Phyllis later settled in Hastings, Sussex, where she spent most of her adult life before moving to Scarborough to be close to her son, Mike Padgham.
Staff at St Cecilia’s pulled out all the stops to mark her milestone, with wonderful food, entertainment and a beautifully decorated home.
The celebrations continued at North Yorkshire Water Park, bringing family together to share this very special occasion.
Mr Padgham said: “Mum is an inspiration to us all, and it was wonderful to celebrate her 100th birthday together.
“She had a lovely time, and seeing her so happy meant everything to us.
“We cannot thank the staff enough for the love, care and effort they put into making her birthday so special. As a family, we are deeply grateful.”
