PICTURES SPECIAL: Staithes welcomes thousands over weekend to annual arts festival

The seaside village of Staithes welcomed thousands of visitors this weekend as 113 artists exhibited across 67 venues in the annual festival of heritage and arts.

Visitors browsed various works of art across a multitude of media in cottages, galleries, studios and community venues, with heritage talks, music and workshops adding to the fun.
