Scarborough Open Air Theatre has wasted no time looking ahead to 2027, announcing its first headline show just weeks after the curtain came down on a record-breaking summer.
Jack Savoretti and James Morrison will team up for a double-headline tour next summer, arriving on the Yorkshire coast on Friday, July 9, 2027.
The announcement follows a sensational 2026 season, which saw 175,000 tickets sold across 28 shows – more than 60,000 ahead of the venue’s previous record, set in 2024.
The season attracted music fans from 64 countries, generated an estimated £18 million-plus boost for the Yorkshire coast, and took the total number of tickets sold at the venue since its reopening in 2010 to one million.
From global stars including Alanis Morissette, Michael Bublé, Hollywood Vampires and Teddy Swims to unforgettable moments with fans, 2026 was a summer to remember.
Now, we look back at 37 of our favourite photos from another incredible season at Scarborough OAT.
