Support Scarborough: Toyland joins Scarborough News’ list of those working through lockdown

The Scarborough News is urging readers to support our local shops and businesses by visiting those that remain open, or visiting their websites to purchase goods online. Many will deliver, or are offering click and collect services.

We will publish details of local goods and services throughout November, in print and online, to highlight some of the great retailers, restaurants and cafes we are lucky to have.

If you would like us to publicise your website and/or other services during lockdown. Email [email protected] with the details.

Leanne Sheridan, Toyland store manager said: “We are a small independent family run business which often gets mistaken for a big chain toy store which we are not.

“As one of the only toyshops left in Scarborough, I feel that not a lot of people realise that we are currently doing a ring and reserve, click and collect and online ordering service.

“As you can imagine the current situation has hit us hard and we rely on November and December sales to keep us going from January through to March.”

The Toyland website can be found at www.toylandtoyshop.co.uk or find them on Facebook at Toyland Scarborough.
