The first Staintondale Country Market of the year takes place this weekend

Staintondale Country Market which runs four times a year takes place at Staintondale Village Hall on Saturday.

The Country Market offers a wide range of local produce including honey, cheeses, chutneys, vegetables and bread.

There will also be free range pork products from Trotters and a selection of arts and crafts.

The market is held to raise funds to keep the Village Hall open and both locals and people visiting the area are invited to pop in and stock up.

Also available is home cooked soup and a good range of sandwiches and cake.

Organisers say they are particularly proud of their cake as it is all ‘calorie free’ – you pay for the cake and the calories are free!

The next Country Market takes place on Saturday March 14 from 10.30am – 2.30pm.
