Tom Jones returns to Scarborough Open Air Theatre with brand new tour
Music icon Tom Jones today announces his return to the Yorkshire coast this summer for a huge outdoor headline show as part of his 2026 Come Gather Round tour.
The legendary Welsh singer will take to the stage at Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Sunday July 26.
He will be joined on the night by British soul favourites Stone Foundation.
Tom will make a triumphant return to Scarborough OAT, his fifth performance at the UK’s largest open-air theatre, following his sold-out show in 2024.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am Friday (January 30) via scarboroughopenairtheatre.co.uk.
Over an incredible career spanning more than six decades, Tom Jones has sold more than 100 million records and remains one of the most enduring and influential performers in music history.
Knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2006, he has also earned multiple BRIT Awards, a Silver Clef Award, the prestigious Music Industry Trusts Award and a Hitmaker Award from the US Songwriters Hall of Fame.
At the age of 85 Tom continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
His global popularity shows no sign of slowing, with audiences drawn to his timeless catalogue, commanding vocals and magnetic stage presence.
Fans in Scarborough can expect a night packed with iconic hits including It’s Not Unusual, What’s New Pussycat?, Delilah, and Green, Green Grass of Home — all delivered with the same energy and charisma that have defined his career.
Joining Tom in Scarborough will be Stone Foundation, the eight-piece soul collective widely regarded as one of the UK’s finest modern acts. With four consecutive UK Top 40 albums and a devoted following, they are renowned for their uplifting live shows, tight musicianship, and full-band energy — the perfect addition to an evening celebrating one of music’s greatest voices.
The announcement takes the number of shows scheduled for TK Maxx Presents Scarborough Open Air Theatre this summer to 27 – with more still to be announced.
Julian Murray, of Scarborough OAT promoters Cuffe and Taylor, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Tom Jones back to Scarborough Open Air Theatre for the fifth time. He’s always a huge favourite here, and the atmosphere is fantastic whenever he steps on stage. With such a brilliant crowd, we’re sure this will be another unforgettable night this summer.”
