Last night at 8pm the people of Scarborough once again took to their doorsteps, windows and gardens to applaud our NHS and key workers.

The Clap For Our Carers campaign began last week and encouraged people across the UK to applaud the health service and its staff.

The clap was repeated last night to give continuing thanks not just to the NHS but all key workers that are working tirelessly during the coronavirus pandemic.

The van is owned by local business Angie's Ice Cream Hire Scarborough which wanted to show it's appreciation.
