"Well done, Jordan": Staithes and Runswick RNLI celebrate crew member's accomplishment
Staithes and Runswick RNLI are celebrating the success of one of their crew members as they reach a significant milestone in their RNLI journey.
Jordan Bond, a volunteer crew member, has passed out as Tier 2 crew by demonstrating a number of different skills across a wide range of areas.
These include towing, man overboard procedures, emergency drills, helming, and maritime theory – all essential to the lifesaving work that the RNLI carry out. A Staithes and Runswick RNLI spokesperson said: “We’re delighted to share that volunteer crew member Jordan has passed out as Tier 2 crew.
“Well done, Jordan – a fantastic achievement! “Training like this is only possible thanks to the generosity of those who donate to the RNLI.
“Your support provides the equipment, training, and resources our volunteer crew need to continue saving lives at sea.”
