And from health heroes to volunteers, there has been no shortage of community heroes in the Scarborough area during this crisis.

This may include frontline workers and volunteers, those going to extraordinary lengths to support critical services and more.

The full list of suggestions on the website reads:

"You can use this form to nominate someone who lives in the UK for a national honour for their contribution to the response to the coronavirus crisis. This contribution could include: frontline work supporting the most vulnerable members of society and those who have caught COVID-19; providing critical care to COVID-19 patients; developing innovations to support the vulnerable and those with COVID-19; going to extraordinary lengths to keep critical services going; volunteering in the community or for service organisations in support of those affected by COVID-19."

It comes as the government confirmed that the Queen's birthday honours list, due to be published next month, will be delayed until August.

To nominate someone for the honour, you will need to provide as many details as possible - including their name, address, contact details and information about their role, wherever possible.

This can include work contact details if necessary.

You should also provide as much detail as you can about the reason for your nomination, such as their volunteer work or innovative ideas.

Download the nomination form from the government website here, and once complete, email it to [email protected].Do you know someone who's gone above and beyond over the last few months?
