Police appeal over Malton crash

A grey Honda Civic was the only vehicle involved in the accident on the A169 at the Eden Camp roundabout at around 8.30pm.

The car is believed to have travelled from Kirkbymoorside along the A170 to Pickering.

Police said it then travelled "at speed" along the A169 towards Malton before crashing.

The driver stayed at the scene, was not injured and was spoken to by police.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw the vehicle before the accident or who saw what happened, particularly if they have dashcam footage.
