Bridlington MP Charlie Dewhirst to host his first Special Educational Needs fair
Charlie Dewhirst, MP for Bridlington and The Wolds, is proud to announce that he will host his first Special Educational Needs & Disability (SEND) Fair.
The event is to take place on Saturday March 7, from 11am to 2pm at the Rix Pavilion, Driffield Showground, and will bring together East Riding of Yorkshire Council and leading charitable organisations from across East Yorkshire.
People will have the opportunity to engage in open discussions and explore advice to the ongoing challenges in supporting children and young people with special educational needs.
As MP, Mr Dewhirst has heard directly from families and educators about the real difficulties they face.

This fair aims to address people’s issues by connecting the community with key providers and encouraging joint action.
Mr Dewhirst said: “I am raising your concerns at the highest levels in Parliament but I want to do more for local families as I am deeply aware of the challenges facing parents across Bridlington, Driffield, Hornsea, Market Weighton and The Wolds.
"That’s why I’m delighted to host my first SEND Fair – to bring everyone together in one place for meaningful conversations and networking.
“There is a wide range of help and guidance on offer across East Yorkshire from some brilliant organisations and I would like to ensure that local families are aware of all the support and help that is currently available to us.
"The fair is free to attend and I look forward to welcoming parents, carers, teachers, school staff and anyone involved in supporting children with SEND.
