Surface repairs on footpath between Spa Chalet and Scarborough Spa
Scarborough Council will undertake surface repairs to the footpath that connects the Spa Chalet and Spa Bridge area to Scarborough Spa for the rest of this week.
To allow the works to be completed during the two days, the footpath will be closed to the public.
People who'd like to access the Spa from the town centre should use the seafront spa approach road and from the South Cliff area access is possible via South Cliff Gardens.
The work is being undertaken for Scarborough Borough Council by Balfour Beatty as part of the last stage of works connected to the South Cliff Slope Stabilisation Scheme.
A spokesperson for Scarborough Borough Council said: “We apologise for any inconvenience the closure of the path may cause and thank everyone for their patience and understanding whilst the essential works are carried out.”
