Proudfoot stores raise money through the Making a Difference Locally charity by customers purchasing items from Nisa’s own label Heritage range and a number of branded products instore which carry charitable donations from the suppliers.

A percentage of this money then goes into a virtual fund for Proudfoots to donate to a local charity or good cause within a 10-mile radius.

Valerie Aston, buying and distribution controller for the Proudfoot Group, said: “Our ethos is to help as many charities and good causes within our area as possible, with donations from £100 up to £1,000.

“The Making a Difference Locally initiative has opened our eyes to the work of the many groups and organisations within our area of the country who are doing invaluable work to help so many, and we are delighted to be able to support them through the scheme.”
