Rescue teams called out to search for missing woman in Bridlington

Rescue teams were out for six hours searching for a woman missing from Bridlington yesterday.

Members of Bridlington Coastguard Rescue, Filey Coastguard and HM Coastguard Hornsea were asked to assist Humberside Police with the search just after 11am.

The HM Coastgaurd rescue helicopter and police search dogs were also called in to help.

After an extensive search which covered the area from the harbour to Fraisthorpe and Danes Dyke to Sewerby, the missing woman was found by police officers late yesterday afternoon.

Emergency services were called out to search for a missing woman.
