Road reopened after three people injured in two vehicle crash in Scarborough

Police, ambulance and fire crews attended the scene of a two vehicle crash on Seamer Moor Lane in Scarborough today (Friday November 29).

North Yorkshire Police have confirmed they were called to the incident at 10.10am this morning.

The road was closed whilst emergency services dealt with the crash.

Three people were taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service tweeted: "Fire crews currently extricating via roof removal, a person trapped in a car following a two vehicle RTC on Moor Lane near Irton, Scarborough.

"One casualty had released themselves, another was assisted out by ambulance before fire arrival."

The road reopened at 12.55pm.
