Sarah West: Police searches ongoing for missing Scarborough woman
Police are still looking for Scarborough woman Sarah West who disappeared more than two weeks ago.
The 46-year-old, of Stepney Road, went missing on Sunday, April 25 and was last seen on the A165 near Cayton Bay at around 7.30am.
There have been other possible sightings of her along the coastal path but, despite extensive searches, she has still not been found.
Last week, police appealed to Scarborough, Reighton and Filey accommodation providers to check their bookings in case she had sought a place to stay.
They also asked them to check their CCTV in case she had recently been, or still was, a guest.
Sarah is 5ft 5ins tall, of a very slim build, with dark blonde/brown shoulder-length hair and may be wearing glasses.
She is believed to be wearing jeans, a light-coloured blouse top and brown boots, and may be carrying a red bag.
Sarah's mother, Valerie, and sister, Rebecca, have urged Sarah to come home.
“Sarah, please come home. We love you and we are here for you no matter what," they said.
“We know you are worried about your health and our health and we just want you to come home so we can support you. Together we’ll find the right treatment and the right people to help you and we will be by your side throughout it all.
“There are so many people who love you and care about you.
"We are all praying for you to come home, that’s all we want and we will be here waiting.”
Anyone with information should call police on 101 or 999 for an immediate sighting.
