Scarborough and Ryedale rescue team called to woman who fell down bank on North York Moors

Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team were called to help a woman who had fallen on the North York Moors.

Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team helped paramedics move the patient.

The team were alerted by the Yorkshire Ambulance Service at 2.21pm yesterday to help move a woman who had fallen down a bank whilst out walking in Dove Dale on the approach to the Bridestones.

The woman was carried back to the car park at Stain Dale by rescuers on a bell stretcher before being transferred to an ambulance and taken to hospital.

Twelve rescuers were deployed for two and a half hours.

Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team were called yesterday afternoon.
