The borough’s infection rate per 100,000 once again stands at 10.

It remains below the averages for North Yorkshire and England which stand at 12 and 23 respectively.

It means the borough is still averaging 11 new cases a week.

Neighbouring Ryedale district once again has zero Covid cases for the second day running.

People in Scarborough will now be able to get their Covid-19 vaccination at Boots in Westborough, it has been confirmed.

Patients will be invited directly by the NHS to book their Covid-19 vaccination appointment at the Boots Scarborough pharmacy.

Mobile testing facilities will be available in Whitby, Scarborough and Filey this week for anyone with symptoms to get tested.
