On the afternoon of Sunday June 20, along with Ravenscar Coastguard Rescue Team, the crews were tasked with assisting the Yorkshire Ambulance Service with the casualty who was stuck in an area of woodland close to Scalby Mills.
A spokesperson fro Scarborough and Burniston Coastguard said: "On arrival to scene, paramedics were already with the casualty and administering care.
"We packaged the casualty in our stretcher and extracted them through the dense woodland to the waiting ambulance.
"Remember, if you see anyone in danger on or near the coast, please dial 999 and ask for Coastguard."
