Scarborough Magistrates' Court: latest sentences handed down

Mark Colin Faye, 41, of North Marine Road: jailed for eight weeks, plus £80 costs, for assault.

Victoria Anne Spriggs, 26, of Beckett Close, Nawton, Helmsley: fined £50 plus £105 costs, and restraining order made, for using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour.

James Christopher Cowton, 36, of Trafalgar Square: community order made, including exclusion requirement and rehabilitation activity requirement, plus £60 compensation, for burglary.

Rosie Stabler, 32, of Almond Tree Avenue, Malton: community order made, including rehabilitation activity requirement, and fined £50 plus £170 costs, for driving while banned and without valid insurance.

Ashley Marc Lyon, 24, of Station Road, Filey: community order made, including 45-day curfew, plus £145 costs, for possessing cannabis with intent to supply.

Stuart David Hollingsworth, 27, of Dunn Grove, Eastfield: fined £100 plus £7.68 compensation and £105 costs for stealing £7.68 of foodstuffs from One Stop Shop, Eastfield.

Marcin Kierszka, 47, of Spital Field Court, Malton: fined £215 plus £105 costs and banned from driving for 12 months, for drug-driving.

Kelly Leigh Lewis, 26, of Queen Street: jailed for 24 weeks, plus £80 costs, for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, assault, violence towards police officers and breaching a suspended sentence imposed for assaults; suspended sentence activated.

Wojciech Krysztof Maslach, 28, of Auborough Street: fined £250 plus £115 costs, for theft.

Luke Martin Allen, 26, of Victoria Road: jailed for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months, including 80 hours' unpaid work over 12 months, for failing to comply with community order.

Mark Wallis a.k.a. Brearley, 43, of High Street, Eastfield: jailed for 26 weeks suspended for 12 months, plus £115 costs, for thefts from Spar Stores and Poundland and breaching a conditional discharge order imposed for failing to surrender to bail.

Jess Robert Collinson, 28, of Trafalgar Square: community order made, including 120 hours' unpaid work over 12 months, plus £145 costs, for, being an offender under the Sexual Offences Act 2003, failed to notify of change of address.

Harry James Soper, 18, of Michael Mount Road: community order made including 180 hours' unpaid work over 12 months, plus £170 costs and banned from driving for 12 months, for taking a vehicle without consent, with damage caused, driving without a valid licence and without valid insurance, and failing to stop and failing to report an accident.

Andrew White, 65, of Burniston Road, Newby: fined £300 plus £350 compensation and £115 costs for damaging a wardrobe and carpets.
