Scarborough News wins top award
The Scarborough News has been named Best Weekly Paper in Yorkshire and the Humber at this year's O2 Media Awards.
The award was presented during a ceremony last night at the Northern Ballet in Leeds.
It is the third consecutive year that the paper has been a finalist in the Best Weekly category, winning the title in 2014.
This year the paper was up against the Sheffield Telegraph and the Rotherham Advertiser.
The Scarborough News has been shortlisted for eight national and regional awards in the past eight years.
