Search continues for missing Scarborough woman not seen for more than three weeks
A Scarborough woman who disappeared more than three weeks ago has still not been found.
Sarah West of Stepney Avenue, was last seen on the A165 near Cayton Bay at around 7.30am on Sunday, April 25.
There have been other possible sightings of the 46-year-old along the coastal path but, despite extensive searches, she is still missing.
Police have been urging anyone who rents accommodation in the Filey, Reighton and Scarborough areas to check their bookings and CCTV in case Sarah has recently been or may still be a guest.
She is 5ft 5ins tall, of a very slim build, with dark blonde/brown shoulder-length hair and maybe wearing glasses.
She is believed to be wearing jeans, a light coloured blouse top and brown boots, and may be carrying a red bag.
Soon after her disappearance, Sarah's mother, Valerie, and sister, Rebecca, made an emotional plea for her return.
“Sarah, please come home. We love you and we are here for you no matter what," they said.
“We know you are worried about your health and our health and we just want you to come home so we can support you.
"Together we’ll find the right treatment and the right people to help you and we will be by your side throughout it all.
“There are so many people who love you and care about you. We are all praying for you to come home, that’s all we want and we will be here waiting.”
Anyone with information that might help find Sarah should call police on 101 or 999 for an immediate sighting.
